Rubber Chicken Theater Presents: The Naughty or Nice Bucket Challenge, or, Will the Last One Leaving Bentleyville Please Turn Out the Christmas Lights?
Date: Friday December 19th, 2014
Time: 7:30 pm
Location: Spirit of the North Theater
Notes:

Rubber Chicken Theater celebrates life in the Twin Ports with their 7th annual Holiday Comedy Revue.

This year's Holiday Revue features originally written and performed sketch comedy and carols that have fun with local, regional, and national issues from the past year. It's not a holiday without Rubber Chicken Theater!

The show will be staged December 12-13, 19-20, 26-27, and there will also be a New Year's Eve Gala on December 31.

All performances will begin at 7:30 p.m. and will be staged at the Spirit of the North Theater in the Fitger's Complex.

Tickets are $15 per person.

Beer and wine will be available from Midi Restaurant. (which always makes the show much more entertaining).

Rubber Chicken Theater has been writing and performing sketch comedy revues ever since the group's inception in 2008.

Revues are like local versions of Saturday Night Live and come from a long theatrical tradition started by that wacky Greek playwright Aristophanes.

They feature original comedy sketches that poke fun at local, regional, and national issues. Some of the topics tackled in How the Grinch Shut Down Christmas include Paula Deen apologies, balloonless Balloonfests, the state of gay marriage in the state of Minnesota, and how that Grinch actually goes about stealing another Christmas tradition: Bentleyville.

The Naughty or Nice Bucket Challenge, or, Will the Last One Leaving Bentleyville Please Turn Out the Christmas Lights?, is written and performed by Minden Hultstrom, Sharon Dixon Obst, Taylor Martin-Romme, Brian Matuszak, Cathy Podeszwa, and Nathan Payne. Additional writing by Greg J. Anderson and Jeremy Churchill.
